Godalming town centre is situated within a stone’s throw and provides a comprehensive range of amenities including a Waitrose and Sainsbury’s. Godalming Station can be reached on foot and provides frequent services to London Waterloo in approximately 45 minutes. There are also bus services available from the town linking with neighbouring towns and villages including Guildford, which lies approximately 4 miles to the north. Access to the A3 is available at Hurtmore and Milford and provides road links to London and the south coast as well as access to both Heathrow and Gatwick airports via the M25 and M23 motorways.
Sporting and recreational facilities are well catered for at Godalming Leisure Centre, which also offers a driving range and golf course as well as squash and tennis courts. For walkers there are many areas of outstanding natural beauty including common and heath land owned or managed by The National Trust. There is a varied choice of private and state schools in the town serving all age groups.
From Meadrow heading into Godalming toward Hare Lane, take the second exit on the mini roundabout onto Chalk Road. Continue on Chalk Road soon becoming Charterhouse Road where the property is found on the right hand side. Parking is close by with unrestricted parking in Deanery Road.
