Clive Powell-Richards
Partner
Clive’s first position in Estate Agency was back in April 1975 as office junior and tea boy with a small local independent. Many, many years later Clive has seen all the ups and downs of the local property market but according to his partners still makes an excellent cup of tea! Clive’s obsession with Estate Agency is combined with obsessions for DIY and gardening, which seem to take up every spare available second. Clive shares his life with his wife and three grown up children along with grandchildren and that’s not to mention a house full of dogs, cats and numerous horses. Clive also wants it mentioned that he is a keen Arsenal fan.

Polly Gillert
Partner
Polly is a country girl at heart living in a beautiful cottage in Winchfield with Pepper the dog. She has boundless enthusiasm and has proven herself to be an absolute natural at putting clients at their ease and really understanding their requirements. Educated in Midhurst, Polly has worked in both Selborne and Farringdon, so knows the Alton, Surrey and Hampshire area well. As the resident computer expert in our Alton estate agency, Polly is also capable of sorting out all her fellow Partners technological problems, which is important given that Clive, Nick and Tim still struggle to work the office toaster.

Kathleen Van Renen
Lettings Manager
Kathleen has joined us in a management role having worked in estate agency locally for many years gaining valuable experience within the Alton area.
As we are now the nearest agency office to Kathleens home she can walk to work within five minutes, not that she needs to do anymore walking as her weekend comprises walking her two dachshunds or walking around looking for interesting places to walk her dachshunds.
Here at WPR we love dogs so when pressed on the dachshunds we learned they are called Alfie and Luna
Apparently Alfie is a very good boy. Hmmm….
Kathleen lives with her fiancé and sites good books and coffee as passions. At no stage did she mention wine which we know is also on the list.

Clare Knight
Assistant Branch Manager
When we asked Clare for a few details for her ‘meet the team’ profile, she mentioned an exceptionally busy life which Involved two sons various dogs and a husband. We did note the order they were listed. Upon reflection it appears she sadly has no dogs at the moment and her sons have grown up and left home. Clare and her husband have filled the void with holidays, weekends away, long walks, lunches and socialising.
Long term Alton resident Clare is considered to be the glue that bonds the office. Her friendly manner and attention to detail ensures confidence whether she is selling your home or indeed selling a home to you. Rather worrying like several members of the WPR team, she admits to a fondness for a glass of wine.

John McConkey
Sales
John was educated locally at Bohunt School in Liphook followed by Alton college and so knows the area like the back of his hand. When not busy in our WPR Alton office he thoroughly enjoys football and has played in various teams since the age of 6 and is a lifelong supporter of Brighton & Hove Albion where he is a season ticket holder. He also enjoys karting and Formula 1 and hopes to go to a Grand Prix in the coming years. The love of his life is his Cockapoo Bobby.

Kylie Rawlings
We are thrilled that Kylie has joined our exceptionally busy lettings department here in Alton. She is fully aware of the challenges of this constantly expanding part of our business.
Kylie has taken a beautifully unconventional route to join us here. Born in Australia not that long ago, ‘apparently’.
Fast forward 21 years, having met an English backpacker (an Alton boy) she moved to England in a temporary but full time way. The next period comprised flitting between the two counties with her now husband.
This holiday romance was proving to be very successful and has been blessed with two, now grown up, children and a couple of lovely dogs, all this time the flitting continued. Until now when this exhausted family have decided to permanently live in the UK and have chosen Alton. ‘Obviously’.
When asked, it is the draw of the gorgeous English countryside, defined seasons and history that she fell in love with and convinced her to stay. We assume her husband and family also had an influence.

Susy Brooks
Sales Progressor
Susy joined the Grayshott team in 2023. She brings a wealth of operational, administrative and marketing experience and for many years ran her own PR and marketing business. Susy brings superb organisational skills and, having initially joined as Office Manager, is now responsible for sales progression, managing the liaison directly between both parties’ solicitors and chasing on a regular basis in order to help speed along the conveyancing process. When not at work, Susy has two teenage daughters and enjoys spending time with the family, walking the dog and visiting the local health spa for Yoga, Spinning and many other activities.

Karen Duggan
Office Manager
Originally from Buckinghamshire Karen has lived in Alton for nearly 20 years. Super efficient she is the engine behind the Alton team keeping the wheels of industry running smoothly so allowing the sales team to ‘do their stuff’. Along with her husband she enjoys going to see live music, in particular Soul, Jazz and Funk. She also has a Goodwood Road Racing Membership and a keen appreciation of Formula 1 and classic sports cars. She also finds time to spend with her two grown up daughters who live in the town.

Bruna Weeks
Administrator
Many years ago, Bruna worked with the partners of WPR whilst they were all with a former company. This must have traumatised her so much that she left to run a South London Pub. The world has turned a few times and some twenty years later we have managed to convince her to come and look after us again. Sun worshiping Bruna moved back to the well-known suntrap Alton for many reasons not least the amazing country walks she shares with her rescue Labrador Marley. Bruna’s hobbies include Gardening, Good Food, wine and of course Gin and tonic and has been known to enjoy them all simultaneously.

Dan Vasey
Director of Sales
A local Farnham boy, Daniel has never moved too far from home during his 20+ years in estate agency and knows the Surrey Hills and Hampshire areas inside out. He’s lost count of the number of people he’s helped buy and sell their homes, many of whom are repeat customers he’s supported through several moves. His straightforward, no nonsense approach and advice gives people confidence in entrusting him with one of life’s biggest milestones. In his spare time, Daniel attempts to perfect his golf swing at West Surrey Golf Club, nervously watches Arsenal and relaxes with a spot of (often injury-inducing) DIY at home.

Kyle Nelson-Esch
Director of Lettings
Kyle has joined us in a senior management position as our Director of lettings. This side of our business has grown exponentially and requires the appointment of somebody with gravitas and experience. Kyle has worked in the industry for the last 13 years with two large corporate London agencies and the last few years have been at director level. On a more interesting note Kyle lives in Liphook with his wife and young son. We couldn’t, however, help noticing that he is actually a South African. Despite being a resident of the UK for very many years he still maintains that ‘all year round BBQ’ is both a thing and highly enjoyable…..Hmm. We are also aware of his sports obsession with favourites being Cricket and Rugby, obviously. Also mentioned were cycling, running, Formular one and MotoGP which pretty well covers everything especially as he correctly say’s Arsenal are his football team. What set’s Kyle apart from most is that he actually plays his favourite sports to a higher than average level.

Trish Brown
Head of Property Management
Heading up the WPR Property Management team Trish brings many years of experience to our letting team. Based in our Farnham head office her organised approach to her role provides an exceptionally high level of customer service. She enjoys getting to know her landlords, tenants and their properties to ensure she can meet their needs when issues arise. She has lived locally in Surrey and Hampshire for the majority of her life, apart from a spell of time living in Wiltshire. Returning to her roots in 2001 with her grown-up family, Trish enjoys spending her free time exploring new places in the sun and dog sitting.

Melissa Cannons
Property Manager
Melissa lives in Alton with her little girl which is where she was originally from although she moved to Holland for a few years as a baby. She is a big music lover and enjoys going to gigs. She is also a fan of the great outdoors and spending time with her family. When we asked for something quirky about her, we discovered that her favourite animals are cows and lobsters which she fully accepts is a bit weird, but weird in our opinion is good! Her work passion is the property business and to learn all aspects of it. She particular enjoys working in Property Management as she likes to problem solve and so she must be really happy as Property Management always has its fair share of problems to sort out.

Estelle Gurney
Move in Manager
Estelle has over 20 years experience of working within the lettings industry and was over the moon when she was offered a job with the Warren-Powell Richards team. Her love for property developed from a young age, when other girls were drawing princesses, Estelle was drawing houses and sticking them on her bedroom wall pretending it was an Estate Agents window!
Estelle has lived in central Farnham for many years where she lives with her husband and daughter. She enjoys being within walking distance of Farnham Park and the town centre.
In her spare time she likes to go shopping and her daughter has also developed a passion for this as well, much to her husbands delight! She also likes to spend time with family and friends, walking, going to the cinema and hopes to take up horse riding again some day. Estelle likes to be organised and tidy and loves compiling a list of what needs doing.

Natalie Hurst
Senior Property Manager
Natalie supplies expert support to our busy Property Management team looking after our Landlords Properties and making sure that any issues experienced by tenants are quickly resolved. Her colleagues describe her as both super efficient and super friendly which are the perfect combination for her role. Natalie has lived in the area all her life and when not taking care of properties enjoys walking to keep fit, yoga, cycling, a weekly Pilates class, gardening, and socialising with friends and family. If looking after our clients properties was not enough she also mentions carrying out home improvements on her list of pastimes.

Peppa Gillert
Office Hoover
Now in her advanced years Peppa is an Alton office ever present and a confirmed team member. Her roles vary from sleeping outside the office in the summer in her capacity as head of security to withdrawing to the back of the office to her bed when conditions are less clement, still mostly sleeping. Technically not the most driven and active team member Peppa seems to enjoy significantly more compliments than the rest of the team from the passing public.

Rosie Sutherland
Senior Property Manager
Rosie was born in Portsmouth, grew up in Gosport and now lives happily in Guildford with her husband and their two sons. It must be a noisy household as Rosie plays the piano and sings, her husband plays the drums, and her boys are learning the piano and the guitar. Just imagine being their neighbour! With degrees in English Literature & Language and Counselling & Psychotherapy it’s also a studious household as further demonstrated by Rosie working on her great novel which remains half-finished following the end of lockdown. With her further interest in crochet and knitting Rosie also claims that if you can make it in wool then she will. All this activity begs the question how she has the time to be such a fantastic member of our Property Management team but without doubt she absolutely does. I can only put it down to her amazing organisational skills.
