Christmas card competition winner revealed

After almost a month of receiving outstanding entries from children across Surrey and Hampshire, we’re delighted to announce that Matylda, aged five-and-a-half, has been crowned winner of our 2025 Christmas Card design competition.

Matylda collected the winner’s prize, a Nintendo Switch 2 with Mario Kart World, on Thursday 11 December.

Her wonderful winning design – a stunning wintry depiction of a traditional English cottage – will now feature on Warren Powell-Richards’ official Christmas card, which will be sent to hundreds of people over the coming days.

On Matylda’s design, Sebastien Lewis, Managing Director at Warren Powell-Richards, comments: “Matylda’s watercolour painting is nothing short of incredible. At only five-and-a-half she’s already showing signs of being a gifted artist and we’re very proud to feature her artwork on the front cover of our official Christmas card. The standard of entries was exceptional and it was very difficult choosing a winner. We were quite amazed by the number of entries we received and are extremely grateful that so many youngsters took the time to enter the competition. I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part and on behalf of my team and myself, Merry Christmas.”

The competition, which launched on 10 November, welcomed Christmas-themed artworks from children aged 5 – 14-years-old.
